GRIFFITH OBSERVATORY PICTURES

Being a wealthy land developer Griffith J. Griffith bought out acres and acres of some of the city's finest land. At the top of the Los Feliz area, of course, he constructed Griffith Observatory. Construction began on June 20, 1933 and after, almost two years, the magnificent Griffith Observatory was completed in May, 1935  Today, hundreds of thousands of tourists visit the observatory's planetarium and look through large telescope. The Griffith Observatory was the one of the filming locations for the classic film 'Rebel Without A Cause', starring James Dean, Natalie Wood and Sal Mineo.

We happen to have some very fascinating and rare Griffith Observatory pictures. Our extensive collection of Griffith Observatory pictures is unrivaled either by another private collector or public institution.  Hollywoodphotographs.com is the largest collection of photographs of Hollywood.

No one, but no one, has a collection of Hollywood photos as we have amassed. Who collected these images and many, many more?  Back in 1972, Bruce Torrence started with approximately thirty.  Over time, his collection and passion only grew. With thousands of images accumulated over time, his pictures (including his Griffith Observatory pictures) have been used by such clients as Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Paramount Studios, Disney, and the Gene Autry Museum. If you want Griffith Observatory pictures from when it was initially being constructed in 1933, we here at Hollywoodphotographs.com  have them. If you want Griffith Observatory pictures taken from airplanes, we have those, too. Suppose you want pictures of it taken upon completion. We can accommodate that request, too. Our shots, of just this one Hollywood institution alone, are many. You can make copies for your own personal enjoyment like many of our customers do.

Or, you can find a way to incorporate them into your student or feature film. Either way, trust Hollywoodphotographs.com to help you get not only the best Griffith Observatory pictures, but also the best pictures of other major Hollywood landmarks in a timely, economical fashion. What's more, you can trust hollywoodphotographs.com to provide you with the best customer service in the industry. Just because we know the images we have are rare and can't necessarily be obtained from other companies, does not mean we are not keen to provide you with the best customer service available. When Hollywoodphotographs.com sets out to do a job, it sets out to do that job properly; no excuses. So when you visit us online at Hollywoodphotos.com or give us a ring, you'll find only the most skilled, knowledgeable customer service employee on the other end to help you get the images you want as quickly as possible.
