If you wish to purchase Hollywood photos, you have to look no further than hollywoodphotographs.com.  They have the largest selection of vintage and historic Hollywood photo and pictures.

Whether you wish to buy images of the Hollywood Bowl, the Coconut Grove or an old streetcar going down Hollywood Blvd., hollywoodphotographs.com has what you are looking for.

There are over eight thousand Hollywood photos on the web site and all are available for sale.  There are over ninety subject categories from which to choose.  Some of the most unusual and unique photos are of the DeMille Field and Chaplin Airdrome which were two airfields located at, what is now, Wilshire Blvd. and Fairfax Ave.  There are photos of blimps, bi-plains and even wing-walkers.

If your fancy is aerial photographs, there are hundreds of aerial images that were taken by Robert Spence, one of the most prolific and famous aerial photographers.  Many of his photos include images of Pickford and Fairbanks studio on Santa Monica Blvd. and other movie studios that were located all over the Los Angeles area.

If you like boxing, you will be interested in seeing photos of the Hollywood Legion Stadium where countless celebrities would attend the popular boxing events at the Legion Stadium.  One of the most famous and infamous places in Hollywood was the Garden of Allah Hotel at Sunset Blvd. and Crescent Heights.  Many of Hollywood’s most popular celebrities stayed at the hotel, which later became known for it wild parties.  After a while, most stars refused to stay there because of its less than flattering reputation.

Across the street for the Garden of Allah was the Schwab’s Pharmacy. It was famous because of the hundreds of movies stars who bought their cosmetics and had their prescriptions filled there.  It was also the place where Sidney Skolsky wrote his daily “gossip column” for the many newspapers and fan magazines.

Just to the west of the Garden of Allah and Schwab’s Pharmacy was the Sunset Strip.  This strip of Los Angeles County land was the home of some of Hollywood’s most famous nightclubs, including Ciro's, Mocambo and Cafe Trocadero.
