If your are looking for Hollywood Walk of Fame photographs, look no further.  The largest collection of photographs of the Hollywood Walk of Fame is on the hollywoodphotographs.com web site.  With almost 800 Hollywood Walk of Fame photographs, you are bound to find the photo you want.

We have photos of the very first Walk of Fame stars that were installed in Hollywood.  These first eight stars were installed in 1958 on the north west corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Highland. Ave.  The eight celebrities honored with these first stars included Ernest Torrence, Olive Bordon, Burt Lancaster, Preston Foster, Ronald Coleman, Louise Frazenda, Edward Sedgwick and Joanne Woodward.  Joanne was the first honoree to pose by his/her Hollywood Walk Of Fame star.

Other photos of the early Walk of Fame ceremonies include those for Burt  Reynolds, Julie Andrews, Paul Anka and the Beach Boys.  The hollywoodphotographs.com web site also has photographs of many of the more recent ceremonies, including Adam West, Paul McCarthay, and Steven Spielberg.  Other Hollywood Images can be seen on the hollywoodphotographs.com web site.

Today, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce administers the selection recipients and installation of all the Hollywood Walk of Fame stars.  They must make their annual selection after reviewing the scores of potential candidates.  Heading up this difficult task is Ana Martinez who has been doing this for years.

The Walk of Fame stars are made of brass and the name ot the celebrity is also brass.  All of this is inlaid in the terrazzo sidewalk.  Walk of Fame ceremonies are usually attended by hundreds of adoring fans who come out to see their favorite star being honored in the famous sidewalk.

All the photographs of the Hollywood Walk of Fame are available for purchase on the hollywoodphotographs.com web site.
